How will you track and measure your progress along the way to achieving your goal? Set parameters that allow you to quantify your goals.
(You also see the M in SMART stand for motivation or meaningful)
Can you control the success or failure of your goals? Are you free to take the steps necessary to reach that finish line? And what exactly are those steps? Take ACTION!
(This is often called attainable, or also accountable or achievable)
Your goals should be reasonably attainable, giving yourself at least a fair expectation for success if you stick to it and do all the right things.
Make sure your goals have clear time frames, both for the ultimate prize and also the daily, weekly, and monthly tasks and steps along the way.
(Trackable, time-bound, tangible)
